I wonder if the people who don't believe it won't because they don't want to believe mankind can be that cruel.
I've always known that it was true. The Holocaust is such a fascinating topic. |

I 100% believe it happened. One of my favorite books is by Elie Wiesel called "Night" it's the story about him and his family in the
concentration camps. I felt as though I was seeing everything he was writing about in person. It was too graphic and real to be make believe.
The part in the book that stands out most to me is when he talks of having to stand in a row, completely naked so that the Nazis could check to see if they were malnourished. If they thought you looked too sickly or on the brink of death....you were shot dead right then and there. They used to cut themselves and smear blood on their bodies and pinch their cheeks for color. So horrible and sad. |

About 10 years ago I was visiting Scotland and met an older Israeli couple also on vacation. They were awesome and hysterical and after having dinner with
them my friend pointed out that the husband had a series of numbers tattooed on his arm. Turns out the husband was a survivor. The fact that he could be so
pleasant and fun and friendly after what he went through as a child absolutely humbled me.

There are 2 kinds of holocaust deniers: the kind that don't believe it was AS bad as is commonly accepted (i.e. they think only some thousands were killed
instead of 6 million) and those that flat out deny anything ever happened.
