when you request them and look at their page, it says "awaiting friend request acceptance" or something like that. Does that disappear if they deny
you? or will it still say that even if they have denied you?
Basically i'm asking if there is an easy way to know if someone denied your friend request

If it still says "awaiting friend request" they haven't ignored it or accepted it yet.

Well if they look at that persons page again and it no longer says awaiting friend request response, but they aren't on their friends list - that's a
good first assumption.
But it doesn't flat out say it

They need some kind of an in-law blocker on there. In-laws can't see ANYTHING about you having a Facebook page, not in searching, not on mutual
friends' pages, nothing. It needs to look like you have never even gone to facebook.com.
