It depends on the act. I've done it for BSB and it was like $200 or something like that, you got to watch them do a soundcheck and then take a pic with
them.

I could only dream of having a meet & greet with P!NK... When she was here last month i did everything possible to make it happen & learned in the
process that you can not buy meet & greet passes! You can only win them through contests. Its all through promotions that the singer/band does... Bummer
that im not lucky :/

usually before the show, a few hours before doors. you go in and the band/musician is sitting at a table there is a line you walk by the table and they sign a
poster/merch/promo/something you brought. sometimes after everyone has something signed you get a photo/group photo.
i wouldnt pay money for a meet and greet -- you can usually win them on the radio or from the artist themselves. sometimes they can also include listening to sound check depends on the artist. |

I've done a sound check with NSYNC...cost me nothing and a meet and greet with JC Chasez....and again, it cost me nothing. I guess you could count the $30
or $35 fan club membership but that's it. My name was chosen for each.
Both were before the shows. I honestly wouldn't pay for one. If I'm paying for a concert ticket I'm certainly not paying even more than the ticket price for a meet and greet pass. I've found most people are disappointed anyway. |

I've done a M&G with Incubus and it was neat to meet these men that I appreciate so much but it's really not worth spending a lot of money on.
It's pretty much a handshake, hello, signature, goodbye, group photo, the end.
It was for charity though so it's all good. |

The meet & greet is for the lady gaga concert. I cant copy & past because im on my ipod but what's basically included is the concert ticket, photo
op,resevered seating in the first 2 rows, deluxe cd, headphones she designed (which cost around $100) all for $375.

I've been to a bunch, and I honestly think they're pretty awkward. I've never paid for one, though. I don't think I ever would, unless it was
like... John Lennon coming back from the dead or something.

I've won m&g through fan clubs and special packages. M&Gs are different for each artist; some are worth the money and some are not. I bought a $250
package for Jewel, but I can't tell you if it was worth it or not because the concert is next week.

I'd agree, I'd give an ovary for John Lennon!

I agree that when you pay they really aren't worth it. You are usually rushed through pretty fast. The ones I've gone to the artists are seeing so many
people you're just a face to them, they don't really take any time out to chat or make you feel special.
The Gaga one you mentioned doesn't seem too bad because at least you get some stuff and a ticket out of it... If you are a huge huge diehard fan it's probably worth it, but otherwise I'd skip. |

I just want to make sure it's not too much money to be spending on a concert.
