I guess it depends on what you're used to. I've been to Dallas twice. I have no desire to go through that nightmare again.

Do they still have NASA related stuff in Houston? Like the launches are somewhat connected to Houston?
I think of heat, fat people, oil, isn't the airport George H Bush Intl? Basically nothing good (aside from oil). |

The actual freeways in Houston are 10x better than the ones in Dallas, Austin or San Antonio. Every time I go to one of those cities I notice how narrow the
lanes are.
NASA is still in Houston. They've never done actual launches from Houston. It's where Mission Control is (which is why astronauts always address "Houston"). They also do astronaut training along with tons of engineering. The engineering is done mainly be defense contractors like Raytheon, Lockheed Martin etc, who have buildings on the same campus as NASA. |

Houston traffic is horrible, but I always dread Austin traffic more. I'm used to Dallas traffic and I don't think it's that bad.
But I think of humidity when I hear Houston.

I think of my cousins/aunt/uncle who live there and how I hate the traffic. I fucking hate everything about Texas. Never want to go there again.
