So if you've got a medical condition that's serious enough to where you can't work, wouldn't you be on some type of disability? I think some of the others here think you're taking advantage of it... especially after you said you're waiting til after the holidays to work.

I'm having surgery the beginning of December so that's why I would like to wait until after the holidays since it would be hard for me to start a job
at this point and have to ask off a week or possibly more to have it, it's not related to my medical condition. Edit: Also for the person who was
complaining about me being on Emergency Unemployment, Texas automatically puts you on this after your original unemployment runs out. I didn't apply for
it, it's just something the state does for everyone if you still are unemployed (and my first unemployment only lasted two months so it didn't last a
long time).
