This time I took some initiative.
Okay, I got the nerve to go into his restaurant yesterday. I called in a to go order. When I got there, he was probably in the kitchen or something. A girl went to bring my order from the kitchen. I had my back turned, and then I heard him coming up behind me making a noise like he approves of how I look or I look nice. Did he know it was me with my back turned and wearing a blazer and Joe's Jeans instead of my work unifnrm? I think so. I think he was surprised to see me, because I'd only been there once before.
Anyway, I turned around, and we greeted each other. Then he asked about my 5 kids. Before I could say anything he was like, "How many did you say you have? None, right?" I assured him that I have no kids. Then he asked where I was going. I said, "Home." Then he was like, "No, I mean where are you taking this?" I guess he meant where was I taking the food that I had ordered. Umm, I'd assume a person getting a to go order would be taking the food home to eat it. It was only enough for one person, so I don't know what he was asking for.
Then the girl came with my food, and he stopped with the personal questions. He then asked if I knew anyone who needed a job. I said I didn't. Then he said that if I find someone who needs a job, send the person to him. Then he was like, "Bye Miss Court Lady." He still doesn't know my name.
Anybody have any insight on why he keeps asking if I have kids?
