My best friend is both. Half of her is just like me (Politics, opinions, values, sense of humor, etc...), and half of her (Personality, outgoingness, etc...)
is completely different.

Yes, I believe opposites attract, and yes, my best friend and I are realllllyyy different.
She's a Neo-Conservative devout Christian with a child, and I'm a Libertarian Atheist that doesn't want kids. She's the girl who dresses in ruffles and bows, I wear studs and ripped jeans. |

My best friend and I are really similar in interests, likes/dislikes, but different personalities. I'm much more confrontational, outgoing, etc. in most
situations. She's not a total wallflower though.
My boyfriend and I are pretty different. He's very pessimistic/always expects the worst, over-analyzes everything, and is very laidback (slow). |

Certainly Not Dcutie wrote: Me too. We are into the same stuff for the most part - being active, outdoorsy, etc... - but personality-wise, we are so different. BUT on the other hand, we get each other in a weird way that no one else does. |

My boyfriend and I aren't the COMPLETE opposite, but we've got our differences. He's got me watching sports.

My best friend and I are opposites. She's all comfy in track pants and sweatshirts and I'm pretty sure no one in our group of friends has seen me in
such attire outside of a gym. I'm all about shopping and girly stuff and she doesn't really care. What we have in common though is hockey and a general
idea of how people are to be treated. Little things like her clothes/my clothes whatever just don't seem to matter. We laugh when I'm told to wear
"appropriate footware" to things.

If her and her best friend are exactly the same in every single way, wouldn't she have more things in common with her best friend?
