that must be one of the forever stamps where you don't have to add 2 cents next time the postage goes up. |

That's not the Forever stamp, the Forever stamp has the Liberty Bell on it. That flag stamp is one of the ones they issue whenever rates change and they
print them in advance so they don't know what the new rate will be yet which is why it doesn't have a number on it.
