I have had this sore right on the inside of my nose for quite sometime now and it will not go away. I am going to call tomorrow to set up a doctor's
appointment but does anyone know what it could be?
Sorry the picture is gross.

Oh wow. Not sure how you lasted this long. I pick at everything on my face, I wouldn't be able to stand it getting that big.
I hope the Dr. helps you get it removed. |

Can you put a spoiler on the pic so I can come back in the post without having to see it?

It's really not that big- you can't see it until you are really up close to my face. It's right inside of my nose though.

It is full of blood actually
It doesn't hurt much at all.

is it hard or soft? is it tender to the touch? it may just be fluid that you can drain yourself (although you would probably want to use as sterile utensils as
possible.

Is it a bump? Or more like a scab? I have a sore that I constantly rip the scab off, but it's from my nose drying out while I was using Zyrtec. If it's
more like a bump, it's probably a nasal polyp.

It is soft right now because it has not gotten dry and crusty. I did poke a needle to see if I could squeeze everything out- it just bled a lot and nothing
changed. It scares me though- it can't be something really serious can it?

Oh my gosh- I think it is a nasal polyp! I just looked at pictures- how do you get rid of it?

Okay sounds like steroids get rid of it- so I guess I need to go to the doctor.

A keloid forms where a scar is. They're very common around piercings or large stitches scars (like an ACL surgery). The only way that would be a keloid is
if you had an injury there before. The more I look at it the more I keep thinking it's a polyp.
