I have NO idea what I want to do and it makes me panicky. I don't think I want to do anything in the industry/field I am now. But I'm not even sure
about that.

I majored in business management, but I have so many things I want to do. I definitely want my own business at some point. I love beauty and fashion. I love
the idea of supporting women and helping them to feel beautiful and good about themselves. And then my first love was the business side of music. So I really
have no idea where I'll end up, but working in this business office is not the business.

I really don't know what I want to do. Probably something technical. I feel like I am pigeonholing myself by going to graduate school in civil engineering.
I may find school easy in engineering but I'm not sure if that's what I want to do my entire life. It could be a very stressful lifestyle.

I graduated with a bachelor's in History. I thought I wanted to work in a museum, but I volunteered with a historical society and didn't find history
all that fascinating. So I took a job just to pay the bills and have insurance and figured that in a year I would re-evaluate some things.
A year later, I started to think about where I had spent my time after work. What did I enjoy doing most. And it was reading. I loved reading and loved books. So, I started to do some research into jobs with books. And then I discovered libraries. They combined a need I had to give back to the community, and reach out to young adults/children and infuse them with a love of learning as well as reach out to other people who need help. So I started talking to librarians and doing some research and realized that it was something I really wanted to do. So, I took the necessary steps to get into grad school (I start in January) and I currently volunteer at the city library a few Saturdays a month and love what I do. Sometimes it's better to take some time off and then look over your life and see if you need a change. |

I have always had a really wide range of interests and I was good at a lot of things... so it was hard to figure out what I wanted to do. I think I finally
have it narrowed down to what I want to do for the rest of my life, though. I think it just comes from trial and error.

I knew I was a natural at math and science, which I inherited from my dad's side so something in the engineering school seemed to fit me. In high school I
took a computer programming class in q-basic and really liked it so I decided to go into computer sciences.

Got my BS in Business Admin Finance this past spring but I don't really feel passionate about it. I am interested in many other things but the main focus
right now is to generate income so I can help out my family. I don't know, hopefully I'll find that special career..

I saw the Animation exhibit at the Disney Studios (then MGM) when I was 7 or 8. At some point, I realized people were making careers out of drawing. I always
painted, drew, etc. and then learned about digital arts in high school. I have a Bachelors of Fine Arts now.

I knew that I didn't want to have a desk job, where I had to sit in a cubicle all day long.
