I really think SR hopes the show can go at least 10 seasons. She's prepared the main cast will leave possibly next year when their contracts are up. KH is
already back filming so Izzie should be back in a few weeks.

The Meredith and Derek wall scene was better than all of some episodes.
What's with Cristina and Jackson next week, that comes out of nowhere. |

It's season 6, Patrick, Katherine, Ellen, Sandra. All the original cast contracts are up at season 7. You can tell they expect them all to bolt.
Katherine's already half way gone.

I think if next season's (season 7) storylines are strong enough, you'll see almost everyone back for an 8th season. About the only person I think
would be a definite no is Katherine Heigl.

I have a new respect for Lexi and Arizona after this ep, not sure why. Cristina/Owen, Mer/Der =    !!
Reed (Reid, whatever) really needs to eat. She is super skinny. I truly hope Alex doesn't go there with her. I am extremely observant and realized the initial drawing Derek put up on the wall was not the same drawing with all of the veins/arteries, etc. Don't judge, I can't help it, lol. There is no way possible, unless by some great miracle by God or a killer story line, that I will be watching Grey's with the main characters gone. Someone needs to step it up so they can make it 10 seasons, or just cut it off at 7 or 8. |

I HIGHLY doubt that if the original cast leaves I will still watch the show. I think that Katherine is actually content with the show. I don't think all the rumors or whatever are because she wants out. I think that she is
outspoken about almost everything and when she says something it gets blown out of proportion.

I'm willing to bet she goes missing for a few episodes next season, too - if she comes back for season 7 that is. That's why I don't see her coming back as a permanent cast member beyond season 7. Recurring, maybe. Permanent, no. |
