Posts: 800 (10/30/2009 8:29 PM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts	I was thinking about trying blackra1n, but I've read so much about people having trouble, that I'm too scared now lol. Then I saw I could restore/update with a custom ipsw made w/ PwnageTool. That seems to be the easiest way, unless I'm not reading it correctly lol. That way I don't have to re-jailbreak, since my phone is already currently jailbroken. I just download the correct ipsw, use Shift+ to choose the file, and then I'm set. Is that right? Anyway suggestions (words of encouragement lol) would be greatly appreciated before I do this. Thanks!

I have an iPhone 3G 16GB. Yea, the blackra1n tutorials look super easy, but a ton of people, on boards I frequent, have had trouble, so if I can go the ipsw route, I think that'd be better in the longrun. Thanks!
