I have no idea WHY AZ doesn't do that. All I know is we just don't.

It sucks having to work during this. It means I get an hour of work added

AZ doesn't recognize DST because of energy conservation and weather purposes. The state gov't claims that they should be exempt from DST because that
extra hour of daylight really screws them over- doesn't start cooling down until after 9, sun doesn't set until super late, etc. There is a section of
the station, however, that does participate in DST- it's a part of a native american reservation.

I'm assuming that since my cell phone hasn't changed yet, I'm going to have to change the time on my own. Watch, now it'll somehow get bumped
back 2 hours instead of one.

When I worked overnights at a motel, it was during fallback, and the time clock was manual. I got the extra hour (which makes sense, since I worked an extra
hour) - and then the manager reset it during a shift I wasn't on, so that person got shafted an hour that they actually worked.

I totally forgot and woke up all confused when my cell said one time and alarm said a different. So then I came out and checked the satellite and it said the
same as my phone... but the mircowave was the other time.
