i talk to my mom practically everyday and my dad every week or so. they have a fit if they don't hear from me.

It's been at least daily lately while I was in the home buying process and trying to get it ready to move in. I wouldn't really say I have a regular,
though. Sometimes it's every day and sometimes I go a week without talking to them. We don't call just to talk, we call if we have something to tell
the other.

I haven't talked to my dad since 1999 at my sister's high school graduation but I see my mom every couple of weeks. I don't really call too much
though because our work schedules are totally different. When I first moved out I called a lot more. When I lived in the dorms at school and when I first got
married I probably talked to my mom a few times a week and visited at least once a week. I haven't lived at home in 20 years though so I think plays a
part.

Well I work with my parents 3 days a week and then on the days where I don't, my mom will call once a day to every other day.
And then once every couple of weeks me and my mom go grocery shopping together. And then usually once every couple of weeks me and my brother both go to my parents house for that "family meal". We all live in the same city just in different areas. My parents are like in the middle of us. I live in the SE side, they live on the South side, and my brother lives on the West side. |

My fiance lives in Los Angeles and he talks to his family every day. He is very close to his mom and brother.

I talk to my mom a few times a week, and go over for supper once a week, sometimes more. I live 5 minutes away.
And I talk to my dad maybe once a week on the phone, but more on MSN and texts and see him once every two months or so. But he lives further away. |

My parents live over two hours away, so I see them every few months, I talk to my Mom almost daily through email and I talk to my Dad on the phone a few times
a week.
We live about 20 minutes from my fiance's parents and we see them a few times a week at least! We are extremely close with his family. |
