 I guess I rather get it out of the way now than like.. in March.
And on a scale from 1-10 how bad is it that yesterday when I was watching the game, whenever St. Louis was mentioned all I could think about was their naked shootout. Thanks a lot Tampa Bay for damaging my psyche. Luckily my boys were able to pull through the game. David's shoot out goal was quite a beauty. And for a moment I almost considered admitting Salvadore is on my team when he destroyed Downie. [/random thoughts] |

So I was watching the Red Wings weekly show and they did an interview with Yzerman (rawr!), talking about going into the Hall of Fame and all that jazz. The
interviewer asks him what he feels was his biggest contribution to the Wings team and Yzerman says, all seriously, "Well, I look back to around the 98
season and, it took a lot of work to get Scotty Bowman to agree, but I finally got him to not require the guys to wear ties on game days. And I'm really
happy that Nick (Lidstrom) is keeping that going."

Aw man. These are an 8, but the design runs small. It fits like a 7.
 I thought I finally found good home for them.
