I keep hearing weird noises coming out of my speakers. 
Soooo...I've discovered the downside to a wireless router.

could it be the placement of the router? we haven't had that happen.

magnetic interference. do you have standalone speakers or are these the built in ones to your computer?. if possible, use a USB hub to move the router away
from the speakers. Or, use a port on the backside of your tower

Perhaps, idk. I don't feel like trying to place it somewhere else right now though - I had a Hell of a time just getting it to work.

Well the noise is gone now. It was this...idk how to explain it...it sounded kinda like someone was drumming their fingers on the table.

It might be interference from your cell phone. Ever since I got my new cell in May, I get that weird noise coming through my computer speakers every now &
then.

I have that only it's a constant beeping sound. It's annoying as fuck. I used to just sit with my headphones on even if nothing was playing but now I
