I was reading in the paper today where San Diego State offered $6 tickets and dollar hot dogs for Saturday's game, but still only drew about 5,000 fans.
Students get in for nothing, but there was less than a hundred in the student section.

Football is life around here. We have 3 seasons in Louisiana: Crawfish Season, Huricane Season, and Football Season.

KU Jayhawks = the NCAA champions a couple of years ago, so even though their current season isn't something to brag about the stands are always packed.

I can't imagine any fairly large college with more apathetic fans than SDSU.

I live in the Detroit area so Michigan and Michigan State are both hugely popular here.

One radio guy here said the only way SDSU could draw people was if they offered free swine flu shots.

We like our football here. It's not the biggest school around but it's not small either. And with a win tonight we are bowl eligible! Go HERD

Michigan.
Calling Michigan football 'popular' is probably an understatement. |

My alma mater is a division 1-AA school with plenty of local support.
