I've lost 32 pounds over the last 7 months....it's been a long process and I honestly didn't think I'd have this problem because it
wasn't a "quick loss" type thing. Anyway, my belly is all saggy and flabby now. I don't like it at all. I still have about 70 pounds to lose
honestly so I know it's only going to get worse before it gets better and I will most likely go under the knife when I lose all I want to but for now, I
can't honestly go down a jeans size good because of this damn skin.
What do you suggest?

Did you work out while you were losing weight? While I have not ever had a lot of weight to lose, I do know that massive cardio has always kept me from having
excessive skin when I started toning up.

I know it sounds crazy, but I can be sitting totally still and feel my heart do all sorts of funny stuff. I'm scared as hell to run

If it's just extra skin there really isn't anything you can do. Is it fat or just skin?

it's skin but there's still fat underneath. I just think that losing that much weight, I should have been able to go down at least one jeans size. So
far I've been able to go from a LB 14 to an American Eagle 14 in the jeans with stretch. WTF?!?!?!?!

Bless your heart. I hope things get better for you, health wise. I think it could be a lack of cardio causing the hanging skin more than anything else. Have
you talked to your doctors about what you can and cant do? Have they determined what is causing the cardiac problems?

Healthwise, I think being 100 pounds overweight had alot to do with it. That was even weird to type ya know...100 pounds overweight. Damn. |

Understood. Just try to take walks. Being more active could definitely help to get the additional weight off and strengthen your heart. Just be sure to talk to
your doctor first.

I agree, if you can exercise it will help a lot taking off inches. I've only lost a pound in the last 6 weeks or so, but gone down a whole clothing size (I
started running).

I used to be a skinny bitch (after I was a fat bitch) and then I turned into a fat ass...which is different then a fat bitch. When I saw the stretchmarks on my
tummy I freaked the fuck out. I've always had an issue with weight (and I know I'll always struggle). I did Nutri-System with their walking work-outs
(love me some Leslie Sansone) and now I swear by the Kim Kardashian Abs DVD. I put cocoa butter on my stomach and now I'm *almost* back to the way I was.
Congrats on your weight loss! I should have said that first...just try to tone before you think you need to go under the knife. |
