Depends on the flight and how long. Flight to Spain? You can bet your ass I wore sweats. Flight last week to California? I wore jeans, shirt and jacket.
Unless I'm going straight off the plane into a business meeting I see no need in dressing up for flying.

I wear dresses or skirts, things that don't have buttons or zippers because once I wore jeans and I was practically strip searched because the alarms kept
on going off when I went through security. Also easy-on/easy-off shoes or sandals that I can run in, in case I am short on time to catch connecting flights.
So I basically dress for convenience but I try to not go with the sloppy just rolled out of bed look.

when I was younger my mom would always buy me a new outfit when we were flying. Its different now so I dress comfortably but still pulled together. Comfort
being most important.

What's so funny? You never know what might happen. I'm not going to wear something that will burn to my skin.

Comfy clothes everytime I fly. Normally jeans & a nice shirt with either flip flops/slides (since you have to take your shoes off anyways)

I don't dress up, but I like to look nice when I fly. I would never wear sweats or anything like that.

I don't care what anyone thinks. I wear sweats to fly.
And it's not like I'm ever going to see these people ever again, anyway! |

Depends where I'm flying to, a hot destination usually 3/4, a tank and hoody/cardigan and flats - coldish/average - jeans, t shirt and hoody. Sometimes
long top, leggings and flats.

Always wear clean underwear. In case someone has to come identify your body.

I wear comfy clothes. I've always flown for pleasure so it's not like I need to dress for a meeting or anything. I'm not at the airport to impress
anyone, so if I'm going to sit in a small, uncomfortable chair for hours I'm going to be wearing something as comfortable as possible.

^I thought your screen name was XOctoMomX
Anyway, I always dress fairly nice on flights. Its just something I was taught as a kid by my mom and it stuck with me.

HolyCannoli wrote: The biggest threat to life in a survivable airplane crash is fire. If you are still alive when the plane lands--- the fire is the biggest problem. There are numerous accounts of people who survive plane crashes, get out of the plane, then have jetfuel/flames land on them and theyre engulfed. Having a leather bag or leather jacket to cover yourself/protect your face from flames and jetfuel is a huge plus. |
