..and it's mildly worrisome. Mostly because I do NOT have the money right now to go to Urgent Care. This bites.

Are you on your period? Sometimes they can come and go with it.
I constantly have lumps in mine. I have Fibrocystic Breast Disease. |

I thought about that. This technically is my placebo week(I'm on the pill), but I missed a pill last week, so my period came early.

do you do normal checks? If it just sprang up, it's probably tissue. keep checking it everyday and see if it gets smaller.

I don't think it was there before today. I do a little mini check every day when I'm in the shower. And even if it was there before, today was the
first day it was painful.

I experienced the same thing. I was told that "typically" when it's painful, it's not cancer. Also, the timing, since it was during my period
made the lump not so scary. Ultimately, an ultra sound was done and it was determined that I have cystic (sp?) breasts. I was told to stop caffeine for about 6
months and to take vitamin E.

I definitely think it just has to do with your period. If you do checks everyday, I would think you would have caught it before now if it was anything
different.

Yea, a coworker of mine told me about it not likely being cancer if it's painful, so I wasn't too worried.
I will die if I have to cut back on caffeine! How will I survive work!?
