when you wash your face?? Apparently that is what you should do? I've only used warm water.

You're supposed to use cold water to close your pores.

I always heard hot water helps keep oily skin at bay.

Nah, I just use warm water. I can't do cold water..unless I'm drinking it of course. Otherwise when I'm washing my hands & face, warm water
feels much better.

Isn't the rule that you are to use warm/hot water at the start to open the pores, facewash and then cold water to close the pores?

I tend to use warm water on my face before using a cleanser and than warm water to rinse and than splash cold water (not too cold) on my face after all the cleanser is off. Anyone seen this before? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XEGFMM_Psq4

I've been told this and I actually used to do so, but now I pretty much use warm all the way through. Maybe I'll go back to the proper way.

Warm water to open my pores to clean them with my face wash, then cold water to close them afterwards.
