I hate those types of questions. My goodness that took forever. They need to give me a call to schedule an interview for making it through that.

a 250 question survey. Every question had to be answered with:
strongly disagree disagree neutral agree or strongly agree I hate those types of questions. My goodness that took forever. They need to give me a call to schedule an interview for making it through that.

I hate those so much. Especially the way they sneak in the same question 20 times, except worded differently.

FYI for these, they just want you to have an opinion. If you make sure you don't put a lot of neutrals, you're normally fine.

I find that after the first 50 or 60, you just sort of go into a daze!!

250 questions is way too long though, at that point people aren't even paying attention to the questions anymore. That's a poorly-designed survey.

JustinRandy131 wrote:No that's not true, lol. A lot of those questions are things like "I get along with my co-workers." "I think honesty is important." "I am never late to work." If you put strongly disagree for all of those...you won't "normally" be fine . It's not about just having an opinion, it's about having the right
(what they deem right) and consistent opinion. Those questions are mainly designed in order to make sure the person answering is consistent in their
answers...that's why they ask the same stupid question 15 times, just worded differently.

Not where I worked and we had one. The managers would feed the scantron through a machine and the only thing that made you "fail" was if there were
too many neutrals.

They should just do away with those.

And what does "too many neutrals" means? 5, 10, 30, 90?

I probably wouldn't want to work anywhere that thought that was an effective & efficient way of hiring

At Macaroni Grill. Most people chose the obviously correct answers. But I'm sure some people did put stupid shit like "it's okay to steal"
and got hired. Not everyone that worked there is exactly bright.

i was told you are supposed to either strongly agree or strongly disagree. apparently it is bad to put anything in between because they are basically yes or no
answers not ones you should be wishy washy on. anyway that's just what i was told at my last job that did that. i think its funny since of course most
people are going to put what they think sounds right.

Those are what I call the bullshit questions. You basically just put the answers that you know they are looking for like the good morals. Not that you
don't feel that way but I for one am not cheerful all the time but I put it down because in retail that's what they want
