yes I am pregnant.. but I'm not going to infect my body with a vaccine that has been tested for shorter than two months.
Not to mention the fact, I know three people who got the vaccine who still ended up getting the virus. |

Pregnant women and small children are the most susceptible to swine flu. If you get it, it could kill both of you.

No, it's not going to kill either of us if I get it and go to the doctor and get treated.
If it was that big of an issue, my doctor wouldn't have let me out of the office without getting it. |

I see where you're coming from, but that's a tough choice.

A doctor can't force you to take any treatment. If you don't want the vaccine, don't take it. But you should know the risks.

People refuse the flu shot all the time. I just don't see how the H1N1 shot is any different. Yet people are all up in arms because people don't want
to get the shot.
No one freaks out about someone not getting a flu shot. |

I got the regular seasonal flu shot and I STILL got sick from a flu... don't know which strain but flu shots aren't perfect at catching all strains.
I have yet to get the H1N1. |

If I was normally a person who relied on medications and prescriptions to get me through not feeling well and sicknesses.. and a person who got sick regularly-
then I would think about getting a flu shot.
Luckily for me, I don't remember the last time I had the "flu".. if I've ever even had one. I'm a very healthy person who takes vitamins and herbal supplements daily. My doctor knows that I really try to stay away from prescription medicines if it can be helped by an organic remedy. He didn't see any problem in me not getting the vaccine- especially since I've been exposed to the virus twice (exposed meaning being in the same room, unknowningly obviously, for longer than an hour) with people who have had the virus and I never ever got as much as a sniffle. |

MissDivaDoll, lol I didn't mean that he was going to strap me down to the table and force me to take it. I'm just saying that my doctor and I are
pretty close.. I know him outside of the office as well.. and if he was worried about me not getting it, he would have voiced his opinion.
