It's like a "superstation" or something whatever the fuck that means.

I noticed in other cities/states that have WGN is kind of different than Chicago's WGN. Kind of.

Yup. Even when the cable here was Time Warner (it's Comcast now) we got it and I live in Houston. I'm still not sure why but I'm not going to
complain, especially when they have marathons of the Munsters and Addams Family. lol.

kellyilla wrote: Yea I just read up on that. Apparently the WGN most everyone else gets can only be gotten by Chicago people on a dish. So weird. If you're gonna go through all that trouble to change everything, why not just cut out the nightly news too? I don't care about the weather and news in Chicago. lol. |

NJ/NYC area and I get it (we have Verizon Fios). Used to have Time Warner a couple of years back and don't recall having it on there.

We've always had it in Arizona. My brother and I used to watch the Bozo Show in the morning on WGN!

Yeah, I'm from Central Illinois and when I was in Atlanta I thought it was weird but I was also stoked that we got WGN.

Yea I just read up on that. Apparently the WGN most everyone else gets can only be gotten by Chicago people on a dish. So weird. That is what I don't understand either. If they are going to go all TBS, then fine, but do we really need to see the news and weather reports. |
