It in a combination of both of our grandfathers names (Jack Everett). Anyway, my sister who is young, only got married b/c she was knocked up...basically doesn't have a clue tells me the other day that they are naming their baby that is due in February Jack. Am I wrong to be pissed off?? The fact that we were planning on using Jack was no secret to ANYONE. In fact, she said, "I have to tell you something-don't be mad but we are naming this baby Jack. You may never have a boy and it isn't fair for you to hog a name" Maybe I'm wrong, but to me that is just disrespectful...she knew that was our choice and now we're left with nothing....

That's why you don't ever tell people your name, they always steal it. It's stupid that she's even taking the name of your husband's grandfather, that name doesn't even have any significance to her. Tell her that when you have a boy you are still naming him that.

She hates my grandfather She wants to use it because it's "cute". I have said for 10+ years that my little boys name was going to be Jack. Now the stupid bitch has stolen it. I honestly don't like Everett-thats the husbands grandfathers middle name so can't go with Everett Jack. She just needs her head bashed in. She won't work, doesn't clean up the house, doesn't cook.....used to be cute but now she never wears makeup/does her hair. She wears sweat pants/jeans and sweatshirts everywhere. I want to smack her ass!

You should be upset because she's a selfish asshole. I would, honestly, tell her to not talk to me for a little while. So is his cousin I would still just take it if your heart has been set on it. Or try sitting her down and explain how important and special it is to you and your husband and the deep significance behind it. Either way, you picked Jack, name your son Jack.

In her opinion, it was first come first serve
