I'm a bridesmaid and the shower is this weekend. I'm in charge of bringing soda, and I always seem to misjudge how much stuff to bring to parties. I
was thinking of getting regular Coke, diet, something like Sprite and then something random like root beer. Would one twelve pack of each be ok, or should I
get two regular and then one of the others?

Are there going to be other drinks there too? I'd say one 12-pack of each.

i think bottles are a little easier & less waste. You will find half empty cans sitting around that people left and forgot. granted the same is with 2
liters, but at least a glass you can pour a smaller amount.
i would do 2 things of regular pop, 2 of diet, and then one of Sprite & Root Beer. But regular & diet are usually the things most people drink. |

The mom is bringing bottled water and Crystal Light or something. There's no alcohol involved.

Yeah I agree with getting bottles and 6 should be enough especially if there are other drinks

Maybe I just drink a lot but I have a ton more than two drinks anywhere I go

My husband drinks Coke like it's water so I guess getting extra of that wouldn't hurt. We had a Halloween party this past weekend and I bought
waaaaaaaay too much beer. It's mostly Coors Light which neither of us like, but at least soda wouldn't go to waste.

It's also an early afternoon shower so I feel like people would drink less earlier in the day than at night. Especially if they have a long drive home.

^I assumed she meant that if there was a lot of extra Coke, she could take it home.

4-5 12 packs.
2 liters are cheaper, but it's such a pain in the ass to take care of everything with them! |

Definitely get 2 liters. Whenever have parties and have cans, so much soda is wasted because people put their soda down and forget where they put it. At least
with 2 liters, you can put your name on your cup. To answer the question though, I'd get 5 2 liters. 2 coke, 2 diet coke, 1 sprite, and 1 other thing like
root beer or orange.

My aunt buys 2 liter bottles when its just the family coming over (2 coke, 1 sprite, 1 diet coke, 1 diet sprite, and then usually one bottle of rootbeer or
pepsi in case anyone doesn't like coke). I always buy extra because its better to have more instead of running out.

I decided to go with cans because they ended up being cheaper than me having to buy cups too, plus I had a coupon that was only good on cans. Plus if a 2 liter
isn't finished it goes flat so fast.
I got 2 coke, 1 diet, 1 sprite, and 1 lemonade. Thanks for the help guys! |
