I saw them years ago together and it's easily the best show I've ever been to, worth $200 a seat.

I saw them in July at the ballpark in Philly. Don't bother buying the top tier in pricing though. We were in the serious nosebleeds and had an awesome
time. It's just song after song after song that you love. It's a good time.

Oh, and the good thing about not buying the best tickets is you have a chance of getting upgraded. Billy always pulls people from the worst seats and brings
them up front. Can't guarantee you'll get to be one, but it's always a chance.

OK so if I get tickets in Section 9 see here, will the stage crap be in the
way? It's either that or sitting farther back in like section 6.
(put your cursor over the section to see the section #) Seriously this will be the best night of my life, I have to go.

worth it. Probably the best concert I've been to, music wise. We had no opening acts- just them- and it went on for quite awhile. So good!

And for people that have gone already: are there no floor seats? That website doesn't show any.

I went in August I believe it was. They played at National Park in DC and it was AWESOME. I think that was my favorite concert ever.

I went to see them! It was amazing. They play songs alone, and songs together. They play piano at the same time. Elton even sings some Billy Joel songs, and
Billy sings some Elton songs! I loved it, it was an amazing concert! DO IT!

LauraN1234 wrote: That's pretty much exactly what happens! I've seen them together like 6 times and my sister and I got upgraded the last time we went. We were in our seats and this guy came up to us and was like "I need to see your tickets. There have been reports of fake tickets in this section." And I was like wtf because we bought them from Ticketmaster. But the guy took us aside and was like "No, I'm just kidding. I'm really here to give you guys 2nd row seats." We were totally shocked! But we got up to the new seats and once the show starts the security guards let everyone gather around the stage so we ended up being in the front row, right in front of Billy's piano the whole time. It's seriously one of the best shows I've ever been to. And they're really fun and interactive with the crowd, as are their band members. I got picks from both Billy and Elton's guitar players.
/end longest story ever. |

I paid $200 for my ticket and it was totally worth it. I never knew if I would have the opportunity to see either of them again, let alone playing together.
When artists start to get older, you have to take the chance of going to see them, because they might not come around again!
Oh and the show was non-stop for about 3hrs. They played together, then Elton solo, Billy solo and together again. AMAZING. I would go again in a heartbeat. By far the best concert I've ever been to. |

But one thing that we did notice was that when we got to the upgraded seats, Billy's side had 99% women and it was pretty much all pairs of a blonde and a brunette. It was kind of strange, actually. And Elton's side of the stage had mostly men. I don't know if that's some type of protocol or if the ticket guy was just in a weird mood that day. |

LOL! So was the stage a normal layout? I'm having a hard time deciding where to sit. The only $170 seats are like directly to the side of the stage, do I
don't know if my view will be jacked up. Or there are $50 seats at the very top but more in the middle.
Which sectio nwould you say would have the best view? http://www3.ticketingcentral.com/V2/PickASection.aspx?8CC2B65C150B518 |

Sorry, when I go to the link you posted it says that the session is expired. What show are you going to? I can look up the seating chart.
The stage is pretty open all the way around. I've sat on the side of the stage before and you can actually see pretty well. You can kind of see in these pictures, there isn't really that much obstructing your view. Sorry, they're kind of crappy, I only had my phone.
