She won't get one because she thinks it's dumb. But apparently my younger sister gave my mother her pw so she could see what me and my siblings are up
to. My older siblings don't even know my mom does this. Like it's fine if you want to keep up with your kids/stepkids/grandchildren on fb, but I think
she should just get one herself.
Omg my mother is such a facebook creeper

If you guys are adults I don't understand why she needs to monitor your internet activity.

my mom was "hurt" when i didn't accept her friend request. i just don't want her creeping and posting embarrassing crap on my wall!! i
eventually just accepted her but facebook was awesome when parents weren't involved.

Lol it's not really about monitoring Internet activity. Like she obv likes seeing pics of grandkids and stuff. Like if she joined i'd be her friend.
I think I'm just annoyed bc my status update was re: me winning 300 bucks this week. I got an email from her that was all "lucky you! Let me know how you responsibly spend your money! I hope you make your car payment early!" (they cosigned on my car loan) I just want to email her back and be all "sorry, already spent it on booze n blow!!" |

My parents are the same way. My mom actually made a facebook account and searched for me. Good thing I have mine set up so that you can't find me unless
you're friends with my friends.

I'm friends with my dad and he comments on facebook stuff over the phone to me all the time. Doesn't really bother me because I have him on limited
profile anyway, so he can only see what I want him to see.

My sister is like that. She thinks it's stupid that I'm 32 and have a Facebook. She's 42. Our brother is 44 and he has a Facebook.
Anyway, her daughter is 21 and my sister had her password so she could "keep up with everyone." She and her daughter got into a HUGE argument so her daughter moved out and changed her password and my sister went ballistic over it! |
