They're not getting rid of Arod (even though they should give him a pay cut for real).
I wonder if Jeter would take a pay cut to keep both Damon and Matsui on? He seems like that type of guy to do something like that. I mean, he calmly waited his turn to get his big paycheck. Waited years for it when he could've told the Yanks to go fuck themselves, ya know? |

Joba makes me nervousssss. If he can just hold out the rest of this and the next, then mo can come in. We need to get some more security runs tho. And I really
hope one of them would be willing to take a pay cut to keep them both.

Money has nothing to do with them only keeping one of the two. Space is, age is. Matsui knee is fucked up. He's can't play outfield. And the DH spot is
too crowed.

I really do love the whole team this year (with the exception of Cano, and Swisher), first time that's really happened since '98-'01. They just all
seem like they're all having fun out there.

I don't like Nick Swisher at all.

Yeah, I'm not in or out in regard to Swisher. He gets an "Eh"
from me.

Okay Brett needs to stop with the bunting. It worked once. Try something else now.

I don't understand what's dislikable about Swisher.

I bet Minka will come on the field to congratulate Derek. I would like to see his interaction with her.

Bye Happ. You're cute but you weren't on it tonight. And I will NOT be sticking around to watch Park, he makes me so nervous.

speaking of bobby richardson...
NEW YORK (AP) - Yankees designated hitter Hideki Matsui has driven in six runs in Game 6 against the Phillies to tie Bobby Richardson's record for most RBIs in a World Series game. Matsui hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the second, a two-run single in the third - both coming off Philadelphia starter Pedro Martinez - and a two-run double off J.A. Happ in the fifth inning on Wednesday night to give New York a 7-1 lead. Richardson accomplished the feat for the Yankees on Oct. 8, 1960, in Game 3 against the Pittsburgh Pirates. He hit a grand slam in the first and had a two-run single in the fourth inning of a 10-0 win. Richardson had a record 12 RBIs in the seven-game loss. The second baseman is the only losing player to be named MVP of the Series. |
