A coworker and I were bringing out some clothes when this lady stopped us and said 'there are a lot of fat people in this town,' looked over at me and said 'no offense.' Normally I'd be able to respond with something back that wouldn't get me in trouble, but I was just so taken back by the comment that I was speechless. I'm not skinny but I'm not fat either. I'm still in shock and it happened at around 1. |

Maybe she meant no offense because you live in the town or something, not because she was calling you fat?

Ugh! That lady is a tactless bitch whether she meant it towards you or not. I'm sorry that it happened to you though. I know it probably doesn't help
much, but just know that she's clearly the one with the problem, not you.

No, she meant no offense to calling me fat. If she hadn't she wouldn't have specifically looked up at me.
