I was telling my best friend that I was thinking of songs and have been thinking about songs for the father/daughter dance and couldn't think of a good one that wasn't boring like "Unforgettable". She ended up telling me about how her dad had said he loved the song by Rascal Flatts, "My Wish" and that it reminded him of her and then she proceeded to tell me she would dance with him to that song when she got married.
I love that song and thought what a great a song it would be if I danced to that song with my Dad. She told me that it was her idea and that it wasn't fair if I used the song she wanted to use because it had a special meaning to her and her Dad. My original thought was "WTF? Who tells someone that a song is off limits?"
She isn't even engaged nor will be any time soon, so my question is, is she being dumb about me wanting to dance to that song on my wedding day with my Dad or is she being a selfish baby?

She's using that other girls
song! Shame on her!"
