lmfao. I love Cleveland Heights (Cleveland Museum of Art = amazing) and Beachwood. I miss Legacy Village and Beachwood Mall.

My aunt lived like 2 miles down the street from Beachwood Mall. It's in Richmond Heights, though, right? Maybe I read your post wrong...
My mom grew up in Geneva (a few miles from the lake). So jealous of the neighborhood... |

No, Richmond Town Square is in Richmond Heights. (And is total crap, might I say. Every decent store closed... it's all these oddly-named stores with WTF
clothing!)
Beachwood Mall is in Beachwood, which neighbors Richmond Hts. Geneva is a fun place. I like Mentor Headlands too. I'm glad that video showcases the best of the Cleveland area. |

I work in Mayfield Heights and live in an eastern suburb of Cleveland.
I love where I live but I will not be driving downtown alone in a long time! It's definitely very ghosttown-ish. |

Ohioans - Are you happy casinos will be built downtown? Will it make it more/less ghettoish? Probably less sparse with people!
I grew up around the Beachwood/Mayfield/RH area, but live in Buffalo now. I didn't get a chance to vote. |

ipodconga wrote:I think it really depends on where they are being built. If they put them in the flats, it'll be BAD news. Hopefully they put them in a decent area! Although.. those are hard to come by in the city of Cleveland! Maybe a suburb.. |

Yeah, I was for opening the Casinos. The people who are freaking out over it are retarded. "We're going to have prostitutes and drug addicts!!"
...we already do. I live in Columbus, btw. |

fanfromohio wrote:I actually beg to differ. The flats are wasted space. If they tear those abandoned buildings down, build a new casino they could put some life back into that area. From what I'm hearing, it's going to be built down there. There's gonna be one in Toledo too. |

Question: Do those of you in Cleveland consider Akron to be part of Cleveland?
I've never understood why (one person I know) lumps them together. Ak-rowdy-rowdy is like 45 minutes away. |

People lump Akron with Cleveland? That's stupid.
