What the hell? May they rest in peace and I hope the ones that were shot get better. My thoughts and prayers go out to their loved ones.

I don't understand what is wrong with people that they would kill the people who were about to be deported.
Although I don't know why these recent murders all have to be from Virginia. We need some mental health screenings in the high schools or something. |

Wow. And the idiocy on facebook has already begun.
Some asshole named Malik Nadal Hasan shot up Fort Hood in Texas killing 12 soldiers and wounding 31 others. He was a recent convert to Islam. Go figure. And right before Barack Hussein Obama is about to speak on this matter he is giving "shout outs" to people. Wonderful. Nice. My first thoughts were for the soldiers and their families. People always show their true colors when shit like this happens. Couldn't even read the comments, although I did see the word "sand *****". RIP to those soldiers. |

I have a girl who honestly opposes ALL immigration or "foreign" people in our country. She says that we "take on the savage masses of other
countries, educate them, give them food, and then they shoot us up and bomb us"

Does she not realize at one point that her ancestors were immigrants? |

It's not like you can just want out of the military and it's granted in the snap of a finger, it doesn't work that way and he knew that when he
enlisted.
It's such a tragedy, I come from a military family and it just strikes so close to home. I always feel so safe on base, no matter where that happens to be, it's such a false sense of safety and security because I've always felt it was a close knit family. You just never know what can happen in any environment, obviously this man had some problems and now innocent people are suffering because of that. I think the worst part is that this man was part of the mental health community, he was supposedly evaluating or helping soldiers who were coming back from combat zones. Whether he got scared and didn't want to go overseas or he objected to going to combat in years past, when he signed up for the military he knew that combat was always a lingering option. He would have been overseas as support, not with ground troops probably not even on the front lines, his way out was the worst possible thing to do, taking the lives of others is horrible. A lot of soldiers don't necessarily want to go to war, but they do it they stand up and do what they have to do. There will always be things we don't know about this case, this day will stay with those people who were in that building and the family of those lost forever, and that's a travesty. |

God bless all the killed and injured and their families. I can't even begin to imagine. I have several friends at Fort Hood and this whole thing makes
me want to cry.

Makes me wonder what went through his mind when they annoyed it was one of our own that went ballistic. Probably didn't change anything though given the guys name. |

An article I read online said this was to be his first deployment. I had CNN on this morning and someone he worked with while an Intern at Walter Reed
wouldn't really say much about him. They brought up that a lot of doctors refused to refer patients to him and the Forensic Psychologist they spoke to from
Walter Reed made some comment about that he does deserve some degree of privacy. My personal opinion is...he likely saw the military as his option to obtaining
the education he wanted and at the time he signed up....never really thought he'd see combat.
