OMG, this girl in my class said "conversate" the other day when talking about her internship in front of a guest professor, who is very well-known
and highly respected in our field. I was so embarrassed for her.

It's been added to the dictionary and it's pretty much a regular word these days. I'm sure back in the day words we commonly use now were probably
highly opposed by the people but they got over it.

I'm WAY more okay with this than I am with people adding "alternate spellings" to the dictionary. LEARN TO SPELL, don't condone spelling
failures!
