 Allison had a VERY heavy accent. He was darker skinned maybe from somewhere in south america?
I'm going to email portia and see if there is ANY way possible I could get a copy of my m&g video. My mom wants to see it so bad, she's so upset she had to miss it. |

Amber I can't even describe to you how thankful that mother was for those tickets. I wish you could have been there to talk to her! Right after she told
me she just lost her husband I had to turn away for about 5 minutes because I could not stop tearing up! (She was also crying) I was so touched at how much
they appreciated the tickets.
That was one of the most wonderful experiences I have ever had. I will probably never forget that feeling and I wanted to make sure I told you as soon as I found out. Just to see how the mother and daughter were interacting and jumping around, cheering, screaming for Miley, it was so heartwarming. She is an incredibly strong woman to have just buried her husband 2 weeks ago and now to be jumping and cheering and SMILING! It's amazing the things a parent will do for their child. Amber you are an amazing person for giving them that opportunity and I know they needed now more than ever. They thanked me again at the end of the concert and I gave them both a hug and said God Bless You. <3 Oh ya and the meeting Miley part was pretty cool too!

That just made me tear up too.
And I came here to post this! Blvd Cougars to the rescue?! We are sad to announce the cancellation of the Jonas Brothers concert for this evening in Zurich. Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers is ill with an upper respiratory infection of the nose and throat and the doctor has advised that he not speak or sing. This is the first time that the Jonas Brothers have ever cancelled a show for sickness and deeply regret that they will not be able to perform as a group tonight. I genuinely hope Nick J doesn't have the swine flu.

I don't post here much, but I typically follow along with you guys' excitement from work. I HAD to respond to the last couple of pages of posts though
- Amber, your story is absolutely amazing. I'm tearing up at the mom and daughter part. I don't know all the details behind how you got the Miley
experience, but I loved reading about it - the hand heart thing made me giggle, and it sounds like you kept yourself pretty well composed through out that meet
'n greet, and your picture is super cute. To have a night like that capped off with the feeling of helping out that mom and daughter though....wow. I
almost wonder if you'll remember that feeling even longer than you will the excitement of meeting Miley.
It's almost like a reverse karma - I'm so glad you shared it with us! (Even the lurkers!  )

Btw greetings from south Carolina. I just called security on two yard workers who were throwing sticks at our friend allegator. I do NOT tollerate animal cruelity of any kind. Also so I'm at this conference and the woman who was personally in charge of inviting JB to the Atlantis is our president elect. I want to ask her how it was to work with the boys this year and ask her if she is planning on bringing them back! |
