Oh I know. I had pit passes for the Charlotte weekend and I only used the passes for qualifying and the Nationwide race. I actually skipped the BofA 500.
I had a friend who did the whole every weekend thing. She got oin through John Andretti's team back then and ended up with a hard pass. Her family was well off so she flew to many of the tracks that year. Of course she got what she wanted...a husband that works in Nascar. After a few times I'd be bored as hell. |

My friends and I saw NSYNC a LOT from 1999-2002 (11 times personally) and I saw NKOTB 5 times on this last tour. I'm a huge Michael Buble fan, and I've
seen him 8 times since 2005 (4 times in 2008) and will probably road trip it again for him a few times in 2010. Buble's security team and band even
recognized my friend and I after a few shows last year, mostly because he kept calling her out from the stage as a funny bit in his show. When we met him (in
a fan club sanctioned meet and greet) he knew who we were. But I have NEVER stayed anywhere the artists have stayed or followed them around inappropriately.
(OK, I did stay at the host hotel for a couple of CFTCs and had some close encounters in hallways, but that was sanctioned and allowed!) |

That shit is so creepy. There was an MJ fan who followed him everywhere and even stayed with him and his kids in Neverland for a while
I think it's even MORE creepy when it's like well-known scene bands. My friends and I did that when we were 16/17 and while we did hang out with 'cool' people, it was sooo pathetic. I try to surpress all of the memories. |

I wouldn't have the slightest idea how to find out what hotel a band was staying at nor would I hang out there to find them, but lots of people do all
sorts of crazy things. Why does it bother you so much?
