Tonight, the 'core' of Jeter, Posada and Pettitte will be on Letterman. Schedule-makers everywhere must have known the Yankees would win in six and everyone would be too tired to stay up late Thursday - maybe that's why there are only two NBA games tonight (both on TNT), and struggling Virginia Tech (again?) against East Carolina on ESPN. http://thebiglead.com/

She's probably the weakest actress on the show but she's adorable and a lot of people loved her relationship with Riggins. She's back for a couple episodes this coming season of FNL, she's being written off because they finally sent her away to college and they ended her characters relationship with Taylor Kitsch's character.

The funny thing is as soon as Mayer broke up with her to date Jennifer Aniston I saw her picture online and said to myself "She will be with Derek next". No lie, lol. That's how much I'm used to the pattern.

Also, the way he talked about not having any kids so he's hoping to play baseball for a long, long time makes me think that marriage isn't even on his timeline right now. He was so enthusiastic about the prospect of playing for years to come that I think it'll be years before we see Jeter having rice thrown at him. I wonder if Minka can wait it out. I also wonder if maybe Minka doesn't want marriage herself since she keeps dating serial daters/eternal bachelors like Mayer and Jeter.

Whatever's going on, he doesn't put her away and only trot her out for the three barely covered events a year like he did with his past interests.
