Apparently I have a viral inner ear infection. I feel like I'm constantly motion sick, and it really sucks because they can't treat it. They gave me
meds for the nausea and the dizziness, but they make me groggy and tired. I've been out of work all week and have to go back on Monday, regardless. The
kicker is that it can take weeks or months to go away. Fun times!

Neither do I! Earlier this week with the symptoms that I had they chalked it up to a stress induced migraine. I started feel better and went to work last
night, and after I was there for four hours I started throwing up like every 20 minutes. I finally broke down and went to the er this morning because I was so
dehydrated. It's all pretty gross!

Feel better, Maggie. I'm hoping for weeks recovery and not months

Thanks! I'm hoping for a quick recovery too. My store manager is not going to want to hear that I'm going to need to take it easy this close to
Thanksgiving.

My mom's ear doctor does this thing where he has her lay down and he messes with the crystals in her neck! Maybe you can try that?

I know. I think it would be smart to let you take it easy now so they don't lose you because they pushed you before it gets really crazy

Dana my next stop is an ear, nose and throat specialist because my doctor and the er doctor were kind of dismissive about it. I get that it's viral and
they can't do much for it, but I also can't go to work throwing up or drugged to the point of being a zombie. Hopefully they can help!

The stuff they gave you for the nausea -- is it PHENERGAN? Because that stuff can really knock you out. I would try to get prescribed Zofran instead.

I had that like two years ago. I woke up one morning, got out of bed, and walked right into my wall. It was AWFUL. I remember walking down the hallway to the
doctors office with my mom trying to help me walk straight. It felt like everything was spinning around me.
I hope you feel better soon! |
