I've talked about this with my boyfriend before in our many "when we get married" talks... he said he wouldn't want to, that it's the
thing he looking forward to most the day we get married.

bernadette drove me NUTS! i wanted to smack her too.
and no, i wouldn't let my future husband see my dress. i'd want him to be surprised. plus, my boyfriend hates shopping and would consider dress shopping pure torture, anyway. |

It really bothered me how that one bride kept saying she couldn't make a decision without her fiance.

I let him see a picture from the designer's website. I didn't let him see the dress in person, on the hanger or with me in it.
I really wanted his opinion, which is why I showed him the picture, but he was still totally blown away when he finally saw me in it. It was a great moment

I would want his opinion on what he would like to see me in, but I wouldn't want him to see the actually dress.

I'm not very traditional when it comes to wedding but for some reason I want my dress to be a secret from everyone except my bridal party and mom until
I'm walking down the aisle.

I don't think I'd let him see it. I don't know why...I'm not that old fashioned or anything but I just like that "tradition".

Thank you for mentioning that guy last night! When he came in in that skin tight V-neck and kept talking about how he has an "eye for fashion that looks
good on her," I knew!

I would not let my husband see the dress before I walked down the aisle. Nope. I want to see the look on his face when he sees me for the first time in it
walking down the aisle.
I watched the episode last night, and when the guy was standing there talking to his future wife, I seriously thought he was her gay brother or best friend before it was made clear that he was her husband-to-be. Oy. |
