Mines instead of mine bothers me too as well as "I could care less" ugh!
Accents don't bother me much, I just hate mispronouncing words that every person who speaks English should know! :{

My sister used to say "Panthlet" instead of "pamphlet" She was in junior high but I'm sure some other people do it as well

Oh and to add...
My boss says receip instead of receipt ....he doesnt pronounce the T...so fricking annoying And I live in Des Moines.....The S is silent people. The worst is when native do it. I just give them the wonk eye |

Like they have to presentate. smh Water pronounced as wuder I'm guilty of this one a bit (I say it more like "wooder" with a "t" than a "d" though)...I'm from Philly, I can't help it. It actually irks me when people say "wah-ter" or "wor-ter"...it just sounds strange Just to clear it up though it's pronounced "wo-ter" right? |
