I loooove the "Shopaholic" series and I really enjoyed the books "Something Borrowed" "Something Blue" "Baby Proof" and "Love the One Your With". Anything that is similar to those types of books would be great!

I've been trying to find a new series or at least a new author...

I just finished "Best Friends Forever" by Jennifer Weiner. If you can completely suspend belief, then it's an alright chick lit story.

"Odd" series by Dean Koontz is great. Its a sci-fi genre though...not sure if you are into that.

well, sci-fi isn't really my thing - fine for movies but I can't really get into a book about it

"The Glass Castle" by Jeannette Walls is pretty good. It's funny. Supposedly going to be made into a movie soon.

Have you read "P.S. I Love You" and "Love, Rosie by Cecelia Ahern?" they're very similar to the shopaholic series and both very good! I
also really liked "The Memory Keeper's Daughter" by Kim Edwards. My faaaavorite book is "She's Come Undone" by Wally Lamb. If you
haven't read it, you definitely should!

Have you read anything by Marion Keyes? Her books about the Walsh sisters are good. Each book focuses on a different sister's story but they all make
appearances in each and you can sort of check in on how the others are doing. In order (so far) the books are:
-Watermelon -Rachel's Holidy -Angels -Anybody Out There Keyes still has one more sister to write a book about and I've heard that she plans to write one about the mother as well. Her other books are all good but if you want a series these are a good start. |

I recommend Q and A. It is the book that Slumdog Millionaire is loosely based on.
I'm currently reading the latest Jodi Piccult book. I'm only about 4 chapters into it but I like it so far. |

I enjoyed all those books you listed, OP, so...
All of Cecelia Ahern's books are entertaining enough. You'll also probably like the "Accidental" ones by Rowan Coleman. Have you read Sammy's Hill and Sammy's House by Kristin Gore? Try Meg Cabot's Queen of Babble series, too. |

Read Child of God by Cormac McCarthy. It's a lot like those books you like.

I enjoy the "chick-flick" cheesey/funny books as opposed to the more seriousness of it all. "Size 12 is Not Fat" sounds cute I just looked
it up.
Have any of you read "Chasing Harry Winston"? I was wondering if that was as good as "The Devil Wears Prada" which is another book that I loved! |

Just so you know, I was joking about Child of God. I would feel bad if you believed me and ended up traumatized.

I still need to read chasing harry winston, but I read the one between is fun but I can't remember the name of it. I LOVE books that are series, I hate
giving up characters, so I like Rachel Gibsons books, four are all linked together.
