Foot on the brake when you turn it on (otherwise it won't turn on-turn on)

You don't have to put the car in park (push "P") if you're turning the car off - you can just hit power

If it feels like it's shutting down when you're at a light, it's not - the engine is turning off and you're going into battery

Oh, it only beeps inside so you know. My theory is that old people buy the cars, so it's a good reminder for them to know what direction they're going in! There's a camera, though, so that's fun. Makes it even easier to parallel park since you can see exactly how far back you can go.

The cars are really quiet, yes (my dad thinks it sounds like a golf cart). My husband and I love it though! Mine is black and we'll drive through parking lots in "stealth mode." I get way too much enjoyment from driving RIGHT behind a pedestrian who doesn't know I'm there until BOOM... they finally realize someone is behind them. Oh, their face when they see a car right there...

I don't have navigation, but I do have camera. And I can use my cell phone through the car speakers. I think we bought a basic level, but I have no idea what comes with what.

I personally love my car, but also understand that it isn't for everyone! You'll at least enjoy it for the weekend.

No, I have a 2008, so the camera is a square on the screen right about where the CD player is on that picture. Mine has the camera, mpg/battery vs. engine thing, temp and audio all on the touch screen in the middle.
