WTF, people are so overly dramatic. I had 2 deliveries that weren't easy at all, but it's fine, FFS.

I wanna add that after all the gross and painful stuff delivery brings you, it is totally worth it in the end

Honestly? I really don't have much of a pain tolerance at all..and I didn't think giving birth was all the bad.

As for the smell, I've heard that there is an "earthy smell" from nurses before, but I didn't notice anything like that when I gave birth. I did notice that the blood I bled after giving birth almost smelled kinda like semen, though. It was weird. |

I had the most BLISSFUL labor and delivery ever. I don't know why, but it didn't hurt at all.
Unfortunately, because I dialated so fast, Adriana's head was really round so they had to give me an episiotome. They cut me half way, but she ripped me ALL THE WAY TO MY ASS. (FYI- TMI- Adam said watching it was like ripping leather). After she was born, they brought me to go to the bathroom, and washed me out/off. I passed out on the toilet because I guess I lost a lot of blood in a short period of time. Then, they brought me into my room (it was night) and I was so tired I just wanted to sleep.. but the epidural wore off and HOLY FUCK! I was in so much pain- I couldn't even LAY DOWN. No lie. Then, I had to shit sooooooooo bad but they told me not to because they stitched up my butt and they didn't want it to rip out the stitches.. but honestly, how do you hold in a poop. So, I begged and begged for pain medication and a stool softner, they said they couldn't give itto me bc my dr didn't prescribe it before he left. So, I told them that I was just going to scream and cry until I woke up every mother and every baby on this floor. Then they gave me medication- but I didn't really sleep at all. I was in pain for like, 2 weeks straight after because my ass and vagina hurt soooo bad. Then, they sewed me up so tight, when I had sex for the first time- it was like, worse than the first time. Even when I have a big poop now, my butt is still so sore. |

well, I mean, it was great in the beginning! The most pain I felt during labor is mild period cramps and feeling like I had to poop. I didn't even really
think the epidural hurt.. it was just scary and I didn't have anyone there to hold my hand.
