It doesn't seem like a year that he's been gone. I wish I had video of him so I can hear what he sounds like again. I don't think I do, though.
I was at church tonight and I started to tear up, also, thinking about him. I really miss him. |

It just sucks lately because I start thinking of all the times I was angry at him for nothing and being bratty. I just wish I could take it all back and be nicer. |

I am so sorry. I know how you feel. My Mamaw passed away a little over a year ago. She was like my mom though. She raised me and I seen her everyday until she
passed. I struggle with it daily. Seems like it never gets easier. Try to hang in there.

 It is. And my dad wasn't a real big talker unless he was lecturing someone on something they did or didn't do correctly  But not having him
snoring on the couch or having the tv volume blasting or the radio set to NPR with the back door open and him cleaning the pool is so weird. He was quiet, but
we knew he was there.

So sorry you are missing your dad so much. The first year and a half were so hard for me also. I would suddenly think about him at the weirdest times and then
start crying all over. It will be 2 years on Tuesday. Fortunately, the funeral services we used also had us give them 40 photos of him over the years in
different scenarios and they scanned them and made a slide show, we picked the music for it and some little sayings and they projected it in the reception
room. They gave me the CD of it and I uploaded it to Youtube so family and friends could still go to it from time to time. It's just been the last 3 months
that I can watch it without bursting into tears but I still get butterflies when I open it. For Christmas, I got a digital frame for my mom and am putting it
on there for her so she can display it in her living room and watch it when she wants seeing as she doesn't have a pc.
