I make $37,000 but I put down $40,000 on my lease, and it was ok. I don't know what the minimum would have been though.

For houses around here that are about $2000, the requirement is usually $90,000 and can only be the combo of two related people maximum. idk if that might help
build a range based on what others say.

The apartments I looked at said 36,000 for a 2 bedroom, I was just wondering if that was the normal rate or not.

Usually, you have to earn 3 times the amount of one year's rent.

They rented me an apartment for 1200/month when I made 37k. Those were some rough years.
