One is still in my car, I wrapped the stem part so that it hangs on my rear view mirror. The other one was pinned on my jacket until we put my dog down last year. When we went to bury her I realized I didn't have anything to put on her grave so I took the flower off my jacket and used that. So I haven't lost any, I used them for good reasons.

Disabled veterans make them every year, and either the VFW or the American Legion distributes them. having said that, i have yet to even see anyone taking donations for them this year. and i also lose them SUPER quickly.

Those are the one I usually get. I haven't got them in a while though... Just never seen or heard of wearing them, at least I do not recall ever.
