Yes, it is a matter of reproductive health. The vast majority of health insurance plans cover fucking erectile dysfunction medication, but only about half
cover abortions and birth control medication. That is disgusting.

Nope, not unless it's medically necessary to save the life of the mother. I'm also pro-choice.

Abortion is a legal medical procedure and should be covered like any other medical procedure.

Yes. Every plan I've ever had has limited the coverage to 2 elective abortions; not sure where the limit should be but I think it's reasonable
to cover them up to a point. And since it's cheaper than it would be to cover a pregnancy, birth and then a child, I would think insurance companies would
want to cover them.

Yep. They cover every other medical procedure including helping a man get it hard. Why not?

Absolutly, I think inssurance should cover ALL medications and ALL medical procedures with the exception of plastic surgery, (reconstructive surgery should
also be fully reimbursed).
I live in France and all these things are free, and i couldn't imagine how horrible it is for anybody to have to pay thousands and thousands for healthcare. But to answer your question more directly about abortions, yes they should be covered, as should the bc pills and methods of contraception, but it should go hand and hand with more sexual education classes and classes on the subject. In europe in general, it is almost unheard of teenagers having babies, but there are also a lot less abortions then in the states, because you start getting sexual education courses when you are 12 and it continues through junior high, and like i said contraception methods are free. It's a win/win situation. |

I'm pro-choice, but I think that only ''medically necessary'' (Rape, Incest, Health and safety of the mother, baby is horribly deformed
and/or won't survive, etc.) abortions should be covered in full by insurance. Abortions done as elective procedures, shouldn't be fully covered- maybe
partially, depending on the circumstances. I consider them like elective cosmetic surgery. ALL forms of birth control should be FREE. I
don't know anyone that's ever went through insurance to have an abortion, by the way. Everyone that I've ever known that's had an abortion paid
cash.
