or for that matter, Thanksgiving?
this year we do. management decides every year whether we'll get it off, and Christmas Eve. Haven't heard about Christmas Eve yet.

I take it off every year. It's something I look forward to the entire year. I loveeeeeee going to the Black Friday sales and being in the midst of the
madness. It's a tradition for me, My aunt and my cousins and it is our time to have fun and be together.

Yes, because it's always on a Friday.
People complain because we don't get Christmas Eve but it changes every year. However, we do get off at like 2 and we work in an office so it's not like a lot gets done that day. It's not a big deal for me to go in for a few hours. |

We get Thanksgiving off. But I work at a uni and the day after Thanksgiving isn't a paid holiday for us. But most people use a vac day for it.

Yeah, I get both days off. I don't get Christmas Eve off by default but I have a few floating holiday days so I'll use it for that.

As of now, we don't get off the day after Thanksgiving. But, apprently the President can decide every year if it should be a government holiday. Come on,
Obama! I'd rather have off the day after Thanksgiving then Veteran's Day!

We have a half day that Wednesday and closed Thurs/Fri. And we are closed Christmas Eve and don't reopen until Jan 2

My job doesn't start till the Monday after Thanksgiving so yes
My husband though might have to work on actual Thanksgiving (triple pay though) and should be off for Black Friday. |

Nope. I never take the day after Thanksgiving off.
a good portion of my office does. and a lot of the business I work with have off, so it's a pretty laid back day. So it's easy money. |
