I had to make my Mom understand this year ( and years to come) that me and my fiance have to spilt the day between her and his family. She (along with many
others) do not like his sisters boyfriend, and she has no disier to spend time there. So I'm having split time holidays...

Usually with family. My birthday is Thanksgiving (or around depending) so I'm with family. This year I will be in Seattle with a friend celebrating my 21st
birthday.

I'll be alone this year. Mom is across the country and sister will be at her dads.

I've spent it alone most years since my mom passed. Last year I had to work and my boyfriend came to visit me which was nice. Thanksgiving dinner at
starbucks, wooo lol. I was going to spend it with my boyfriend this year but he's probably going to have to work this year

Sunday before is with my family out of town and then Thanksgiving Day is at my house with my daughter, BIL, MIL and FIL....if you call them that still. I'm
not legally married anymore but they're still family. Oh..and my mom will probably be here too.

My co-workers. I work every Thanksgiving.
But a few years ago, before I had the job, I spent it with my immediate and extended family. |

The past couple years we've done it different than we usually do. My mom's side of the family found that having 'Thanksgiving dinner' on
Wednesday was far easier and less stressful (which then allowed for Thursday to be a recovery day from Turkey overload), so we have dinner with that side of
the family on Wednesday. Then we'll have actual Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday with my dad's side of the family. If we're up to it, we might have
a more personal/smaller immediate family dinner on the Sunday after.

I don't have enough relatives for a huge Thanksgiving dinner.
But I will next year.

I hate Thanksgiving and wouldn't mind spending it alone.
