"But your loving kind that you can keep (?) "
I couldn't figure out that line at all. lol |

She says "Dark, and I'm burning a roach." And I think the other line is, "But your love ain't the kind you can keep."
I'm obsessed with this song all of a sudden. The production is fantastic.

Yeah! (in Timbaland's voice)
I need more people to be obsessed with this song as I am! lol "But your love ain't the kind you keep" sounds like the winner. |

" I am burning a roach"
That is an expression I am not familiar with. What is that mean? |

I'm obsessed with it, too.

It's slang for smoking marijuana.

Isn't the production fantastic?
It's not your run of the mill production. A lot of creativity and thought and LOVE when into making this music. I am sappy, but I am so proud of Justin.

Roach is slang for the butt of a marijuana cigarette. So I guess she's letting it burn out after she's smoked most of it? I dunno. I'm not the drug
expert here.

Well, Justin did write the lyrics afterall, so the marijuana reference does make sense.

Ya know, it makes perfect sense, but listening again, I don't hear any "ch" sound. Ah well. Homegirl needs to enunciate.

Someone's opinion on the song but I wish I'd said it. lol
Cold Case Love" - Rihanna A new song has emerged from Rihanna's 'R Rated' album! The song 'Cold Case Love' is written and produced by The Y's. This song tells a story of Rihanna reflecting on a lover, **coughs** **Chris Brown** how he did her wrong, it being a crime, and how she was trapped and wants released from his love. This excerpt from the song is what sent me over "What you did to me wasn't right. I let you reach me one more time, but that's enough… Ya love is breaking the law but I needed a witness!" Baaaaaabbbbbeeeeee, when I tell you I get chills running up and down my spine every time I hear those lines! Rihanna is not playing around this time and she letting her emotions come through her music. I think she is going to deliver her best CD ever! #MarkMyWords Now, for many this could merely be just another "sad love" song but I believe this is beyond more than words can say. It's deep, it's heroic, it speaks truth, and it's the song of a fighter! Rihanna is proving that she can talk about her hurt, pain, the love she once had, and move on; too bad some women can't. Go Rihanna!

I absolutely love Cold Case Love. It think it's the best song Justin has done for another artist. It's so haunting and the production is amazing!

I actually really love the song, and I'm not even a Rihanna fan. Her voice irritates me. This the only song of hers that I like.

It is the best song Justin has done for any artist.
Rihanna should have chosen this as the first single. It could have been a surefire Grammy pick for best song. I am guessing 6 minute song scared the label. |

It would need a radio edit to be a single. I fear they'd butcher it.
